First and last. (Batman #655, Batman, Incorporated Vol. 2 #12.) Will miss Grant Morrison on Batman very, very much.
Commissioner Gordon, getting things done. #batman #comics
i would never say this out loud…but thank you for that
I very nearly vomited myself the two times I tried Red Hood and the Outlaws, but I’m hearing good things about this issue and here’s a nice moment. Wonder if I should grab it?
Maaaaan the New 52 suit is so dumb. I’m biased, but the Inc. costume might be my favorite of the bunch. Also have a soft spot for the wackadoo Hugo Strange variant.
Comics I’ve purchased as gifts this holiday season. How’d I do?
Charting the Evolution of the Bat Logo
Few symbols in comics, or in any other medium, are as enduring as Batman’s logo. Perhaps one of the most impressive aspects of the Dark Knight’s symbol is that, despite going through dozens of changes over the years, it remains eminently recognizable. This fact was not lost on Cathryn Lavery, as the artist has highlighted many iterations of the famous symbol in a limited edition poster that features 30 different versions of the Bat logo - from print, film, and animation - spanning 72 years.Check out Lavery’s evolutionary chart of the Bat logo on ComicsAlliance!
This… pleases me.

Great stuff, if I may say so myself.
I’ve read all of these—”Time and the Batman” excepted—probably half a dozen times each. Think I can go through them all once more in the 23 days before Batman, Incorporated volume 2 starts? I’d include Final Crisis to really be proper about it, but maybe that’s pushing it. I’m a busy man!
Not a shabby pull. Very stoked for Challengers of the Unknown. I hope Nightwing picks up a bit — it’s been pretty darn uneven in my opinion, but I like Higgins and, of course, Dick Grayson enough that I’ve stayed loyal.
… Also hoping that Bat-Owl doesn’t claw my eyes out.
